Katrina’s Senior Photos, Part 2 | Chicago, IL

Little sista came to {Chi}-town.

Let’s be honest…my dynamic personality was not enough to get her to fly from North Carolina to Illinois. She actually came because some of her best friends were in town for a huge Lithuanian Song festival. Don’t believe me? I think proof of them rockin the Lithuanian flag at an impromptu Lithuanian flash mob at the Bean should convince you.

Oh, you mean you didn’t see the massive Lithuanian flash mob at the Bean a week ago? There was a lot of singing (Lithuanians sure do love singing!), lots of Grateful Dead sponsored Lithuanian basketball t-shirts (ironic, since the Grateful Dead were performing in Chicago that weekend), lots of confused tourists wondering “What nationality ARE they?”, and lots of annoyed security guards.

In between meeting up with her friends, though, Katrina and I had such a lovely visit. We barbecued on the patio with Vincas for the Fourth of July, explored Wicker Park with friends, went thrifting at Goodwill, and (of course) had a photoshoot. I’m sure you’ve heard me say this before, but it ain’t a sister visit without a photo shoot. Since I took Katrina’s “official” senior photos back in the fall, I like to think of these photos as her Senior Photos part two. Ah, the perks of being related to a photographer!

The jury is still out on whether it’s good to have such a gorgeous sister or just downright depressing. 😉 Just kidding, Katz, I love you! <3
