A few months ago I had the honor of photographing Brian and Ladan’s beautiful ceremony at St. Joan of Arc Church in Lisle, Illinois. We took photos of the family immediately afterwards in downtown Naperville. Vincas and I actually attended their first wedding, a big and beautiful Iranian celebration, the month before. Because that wedding was mostly focused around Ladan’s Iranian heritage, however, the two wanted to do something special for the Catholic validation of their marriage. Ladan writes beautifully about it the day on her own blog, Make the Most, so go check that out!
The validation ceremony took place in Brian’s childhood parish with only immediate family members present.
I love how intimate that made it! The priest was incredibly sweet, too, full of joy and excitement for Brian and Ladan.
I’d never been to Naperville before and absolutely loved this downtown park. It was the perfect place for a few, quick portraits!
How fun is Brian’s tie? I’m kind of in love with it, especially when paired with Ladan’s lacy, white dress and that gorgeous bouquet.
Congratulations, you two! May your lives be full and beautiful and blessed!
